Danpal ® is a global company operating in five continents, through global distribution and operation and eight regional subsidiaries.
For over 50 years, their state-of-the-art systems have helped architects to transform light (both natural and artificial) into a powerful and versatile tool, for architectural creations that are internally and externally radiant.
Danpal ® was searching for an innovative and intuitive platform to manage efficiently the digital media of their Applications, Systems and Projects.
MasterDAM software from IDEA Information Systems, enables Danpal’s Marketing team to store all their Digital Assets in a central and secured location, to shorten substantially the time spent on searching for Digital Assets and to allow sharing and distributing the
Digital Assets in a convenient and secured way, inside the organization and to 3rd parties.
By creating varied Collections in MasterDAM, users can easily and quickly, share and distribute multiple Assets which creates a conceptual group. Collection is a set of assets which allow users to share a specific group of assets with one or several users. Users
can also share Collections with anonymous users who are not registered in MasterDAM. Collections are commonly used to aggregate multiple assets and organize them logically so that all users with the proper permissions can search and navigate the collections.
Unlike folders, a collection can include assets from different locations. You can share collections with various users that are assigned different levels of permissions, including viewing, editing, and so on.
Over the years, Danpal” has taken part in thousands of architectural projects and has a constant presence in projects at major sporting events (the Beijing Olympics, the Winter Olympics in Canada and Russia), roofing leading sports stadiums in various world
championships in soccer, hangars and new factories for Boeing and Airbus aircraft in Europe and the USA, and a very wide variety of impressive projects around the world. The most special place where a Danpal” product is found is in the Louvre Museum in Paris, where a semi-transparent Denpal” roofing system was installed over the world-famous painting, the Mona Lisa.
